Mr. Mark Cleveland

Mark Cleveland is a long time resident of the Northwest Territories. He worked for the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) for over thirty years in a number of roles, holding management and supervisory positions at the community, regional and territorial levels. During his public service career, he was the president of the territorial college system, executive director of the Science Institute and assistant deputy minister. He also served as deputy minister for the Departments of Education, Culture and Employment, Health and Social Services as well as Corporate and Transition Planning. He completed his career as the Secretary to the Financial Management Board and Comptroller General for the GNWT. Since retirement from the public service in late 2007, Mark has been operating a small management consulting firm.
